History
Founded in 1963 in the Kingdom of Bahrain, as “Abdulla Ahmed Nass Contracting Co. W.L.L.” by Late Abdulla Ahmed Nass; today Nass Contracting is one of the most respected construction powerhouse locally and regionally.
Early Years
After spending ten years in Saudi Arabia gaining experience of the contracting industry, local entrepreneur and businessman Abdulla Ahmed Nass returned to Bahrain in 1963 to set up his own civil construction and general trading business.
He soon undertook major construction projects and quickly established a reputation for honest dealing and quality service.
Expansion and Diversification
Nass Contracting extended its horizons beyond Bahrain and has set up a branch in UAE(Nass Contracting UAE), and is considering entering other GCC countries, when the market demands.
Timeline
1963 Establishment
Established Nass Contracting (previously known as A.A. Nass Contracting Co.)
First project was the Royal Air Force, Bahrain.
Build the Aysha Girls School in Manama.
Constructed Electrical Grid Systems, Sewage system in Manama and Ground cable laying.
1967 Built first housing complex in Isa Town
Building the 1st Housing complex in Isa Town and then in Hamad Town
1996 Establishment of sub-division, Nass Landscapes
Nass Landscapes was established
and now the largest landscaping company in Bahrain.
2007 Establishment of sub-division, Nass Asphalt
Nass Asphalt was established.
2010 Became ECITB approved training centre
Nass Contracting is an approved Centre to deliver a range of the ECITB International training courses in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
2011 Obtained ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 accreditation
Nass Contracting was certified with ISO 9001, ISO 140001 and OHSAS 18001.
Expanded Geographically in UAE
Nass Contracting established a branch in UAE.
