Work Description:
The works comprise the Civil & Underground Works: Area-1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 of BAPCO Modernization Project consist of Site Preparation Works, Earthworks, Piling Works, Construction of Underground Systems, Concrete Foundation Works, Elevated Concrete Works, Supply & Installation of Precast Elements, Construction of Concrete Paving & Concrete and Fireproofing Works.
The main part of scope of work as below:
– Demolition of existing ground facilities such as underground piping, concrete foundation, catch basin, demolition of existing roads and paving & existing building & shelters.
– Earthworks: Grubbing and Scrubbing of surface, General Excavation, Load and transport and unload of material form excavation, Backfilling and embankments, Preparation of the top of the backfilling, surface levelling, compaction, etc.
– Construction of underground systems (Drainage system, electrical & instrument cable trench): Excavation of trenches including shoring, formwork and backfilling works, Construction of Duct Banks (including embedded PVC pipes), Carbon Steel RTR & PVC pipe works, Construction of reinforced concrete Cooling water tower, pits etc. (including covers)
– Concrete works (Foundation & Elevated concrete): Excavation, leveling and surface preparation, Supply and installation of formworks, Laying of lean concrete, concrete pouring, installation of steel bars and embedded elements, vibration, curing and finishing of concrete.
– Supply and installation of precast elements: Pipe sleepers
– Pavement & Roads: Excavation, leveling and surface preparation, Concrete
pavements, Asphalt road
